About Us

Zaharah Nalugemwa is the founder of Butlers Healthcare & Staffing, a company built on compassion, excellence, and a deep understanding of what quality care should look like.

Originally from Uganda, Zaharah graduated at the top of her class from Makerere University. In recognition of her academic excellence, she was retained as a teaching assistant shortly after graduation before moving to the United States to pursue her master’s degree.

While in the U.S., she began working as a Home Health Aide. What began as a part-time job soon became a calling. Through caring for clients and building meaningful relationships with families, she discovered a genuine passion for helping and serving others during some of life’s most important moments.

Determined to grow within the field, she advanced through multiple levels of healthcare, from HHA to CNA, Care Coordinator, Case Manager, and broader leadership and administrative roles.

Inspired by the people she cared for and driven by a vision to raise the standard of service, Zaharah founded Butlers Healthcare & Staffing. The company was named in honor of John Butler and his wife, Barbara Butler, cherished clients whose kindness and impact left a lasting impression on her life.

Today, she leads the organization with a commitment to dignity, reliability, and raising the standard of care in every service delivered.
